About
Who built this & why
Sabir was built because the community it offers did not exist.
My name is Swati Kankan. I built Sabir because I needed it and it did not exist.
I have lived with chronic pain, fatigue, and injuries since childhood, and I have spent years looking for people who understand the constant drain of navigating physical challenges in some form or another.
Over years of conversations with chronically ill people in India, the gaps were consistent: isolation, unreliable information, and the absence of people who understand what you go through without needing to be convinced first.
Sabir was built because that absence was felt too often for too long.
